Hotel

Although the hotel deadline has passed, the hotel will take reservations on a space available basis. The hotel will still honor the conference rate if the block of rooms reserved by the conference is still available. However, we recommend calling the hotel directly rather than using the hotel web site to get the conference rate.
Please contact Todd Olsen (tolsen1@cs.umbc.edu) for all the accommodation and roommate matching requirements.
Use "KDD'03 Lodging" as subject tag.

Washington DC

Public transportation in DC is outstanding. You can use either metro-rail or metro-bus to get just about anywhere. If you've never been to DC you should try to visit one of the many Smithsonian Museums, see some of the monuments on the National Mall, see the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights at the National Archives, tour the White House, or visit one of the many art museums such as the National Gallery and the Hirshhorn (which is part of the Smithsonian).
