Conference Registration Includes

Tutorials and Workshops are included in the registration fee; however notes must be purchased.

Attendance of the workshops is included in the registration for KDD. However, there are only a limited number of seats for each workshop, and some workshops may have a special procedure for attending the workshop. For details of a workshop, please consult the KDD conference web page.

Sell-out Policy

All registration will be processed first-come, first-served, based on date of receipt. On-site registration will be accepted subject to the availability of space and materials. The ACM SIGKDD reserves the right to limit Conference registrations.

Refund Requests

Plans change unexpectedly. So if you find it necessary, requests for refunds should be submitted in writing and must be received no later than August 13, 2003, and are subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be processed after this date.

Registration Transfers

"No-shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full registration fee. Instead of canceling, your registration may be transferred.

If you cannot attend the conference, your registration may be transferred by giving a colleague a letter authorizing the transfer. The letter must be presented at registration on-site. Please note, transfers may be subject to pricing adjustment based on the affiliated organization memberships of the person to whom you transfer your registration.

Confidentiality

Data that you provide to this conference will not be distributed to anyone without your permission. You will be asked during the registration process if you are willing to have your name and address included in the conference Attendee List. This list will be made available for individual query purposes, to the other attendees and to the conference's exhibitors. The Attendee List is not provided in bulk form to any outside organization. The SIGKDD organization, the Association for Computing Machinery, AAAI, and other affiliated organizations may use this list to notify you of future SIGKDD, ACM, AAAI or affiliated organization activities or conferences.
